J. Seth Hood, serves as Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer. Seth joined the Hood Companies in 2008 and works closely alongside John in managing the day-to-day operations of the various entities. He is involved in evaluating all land & mineral acquisitions, exploration & development projects, and managing mineral interests throughout North Louisiana & East Texas.
Seth is a 2007 graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a B.S. in Business Administration.
Seth is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), the Ark-La-Tex Association of Petroleum Landmen (ALTAPL), and the Louisiana Oil & Gas Association (LOGA). He also holds a Louisiana Real Estate License and is a member of the Northeast Louisiana Assocation of Realtors
Seth is married to Vanna Neal Hood and they have three children. Seth and his family are members of The Bridge Community Church in Ruston.
