John Hood founded Hood Petroleum, Inc. in 1992 as a lease brokerage firm. The company rapidly expanded, acquiring hundreds of thousands of acres of oil, gas, and mineral leases throughout North Louisiana, South Arkansas, and East Texas.
Over the years, John began to invest in various industries, expanding his expertise beyond the oil and gas industry. As John began to operate many successful enterprises through different entities, Hood Petroleum evolved as well. To serve the needs of the growing companies, Hood Petroleum now provides management services to the various entities under the Hood Companies umbrella.
